This year I experienced the GREATNESS OF GOD in so many ways. It is time to reflect on a year where God provided Living Water with enough funds to install 19 water tanks, repair at least 5 and build toilets and paint a school. To do the installations and scouting for schools without water we traveled at least 5000 km, mostly by truck. I thank God that he always kept us tight in his hand and we travelled safely. Visiting the different schools we encountered people that really care for children and also those that do the work just for the pay.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
We have the privilege of having sponsors who really care and who give money not because the government expects it but because the people working their are children of God and they want to make a difference. We have people giving R200 every month and I know that that is really 10% of their pension. Thank you Lord for these people and companies. Thank you Lord that I never had to contact people to ask for money, if I open the bank account then their is money available for what we plan next.
We shared the gospel with at leased 5000 children, whom most do not know our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to invite you all to start outreaches in your own area. We are all called to make disciples according to Mathew 28: 19,20. I will assist where I can. Living Water does not want to be exclusive, we want people from all over South Africa, Africa and the world to start installing tanks spreading the message that we serve a LIVING GOD.
Prayers and Messages of Encouragement
When I visited the Transkei 3 weeks back I received the message that my father is ill and that he will have to have a operation. He eventually ended up 9 days in ICU. From the scripture the Lord gave me the message that nobody will die. That gave me the conviction to complete the work at hand and go down to Cape Town after completing the installations. I want to thank every body for their prayers and messages of encouragement. I had the privilege to talk to my father again and he is miraculously busy recovering.
I want to thank all the volunteers who helped me during the course of the year. The work can not be done without them. They help to stretch the available funds.
Next year we plan to install 20 tanks again and then much more ambitious is to plan and build a private school in the transkei.
Matters for prayer:
1. pray for our teachers, that they will become children of God, that they then will disciple the children.
2. that more people will start spreading the Gospel where ever they are without apology.
3. for me to stay humble and to listen to what God wants me to do.
4. that the HOLY SPIRIT will touch hearts and people will accept JESUS just by reading the message of hope on the tanks.
Just a view pictures to sum up the year.
May the Lord bless you.
